Faux and Foliage began from a longstanding passion for floristry, a love of colour and an enjoyment in the therapeutic process of creative projects.
Lynsey, founder of Faux and Foliage, left a consulting job in accountancy back in February 2020, and so lockdown offered the perfect opportunity to focus on this & develop these elements into a new range of products. She spent the first few months researching interior design, floristry and colour as a creative outlet and found herself drawn more and more to dried and preserved flowers. One aspect of these flowers that really caught her attention was that they are just as beautiful as the real thing but last so much longer, as well as being so much more environmentally friendly than their plastic alternatives.
After noticing the rising trend in dried and preserved flowers, and the impact of lockdown on shopping habits, it became clear there could be some potential offering this range of bouquets for sale online. There was a lot of positive feedback from friends on the initial bouquets created and Faux & Foliage was officially launched as a result!
